GCSE Results 2018

Results day was one of excitement and delight for both students and staff.

Any tears were of the happy variety as the great exam results sunk in. We are delighted that, once again, so many of our students have done extremely well and every single student is ready for the next phase of their life be it sixth form, college, apprenticeships or employment. As a school community, we are all incredibly proud and wish them all every success and best wishes for their bright futures.

Both students and staff have worked extremely hard for the results in a changing, more rigorous, educational landscape and we celebrate all their successes: sporting achievements; performances and charitable works. We are also proud of the contributions that our students have made to the school and wider community during their 5 years at QKS. As always, we are extremely grateful for the support and encouragement of parents and carers.

As always, we have numerous students who have surpassed expectations to achieve extremely pleasing results. They have shown remarkable resilience and their positive attitude coupled with hard work has paid dividends.

QKS staff and our students were really pleased with an excellent set of A level results.

The dedication, commitment and determination of the students have paid dividends with the excellent results they have achieved. It is a measure of the hard work and dedication of our students and staff, and we are extremely proud of them all. The overwhelming majority of students have successfully gained places on their preferred courses at university. Those students who have chosen not to pursue the higher education route, leave well equipped to follow their chosen pathway. Congratulations to all our Year 13 students on their well-deserved results and for the contributions they have made to the school during their time with us; whether this be two years or seven.

We are proud to have supported our students in their next steps and look forward to them becoming future architects, medics, astrophysicists and journalists, to name but a few. We are certain they will go on to great things, regardless of their chosen field.
